Well I have a new respect for GCs, Been working a project on my house and I had three subs that needed to come together. I am responsible for the electric, plumbing and framing. Been a tense week. I have my jobs done but I needed the masonry work and the rockers to come in this week to ensure the job is ready for my floor guy next week. Well it seems I got it done and they are scheduled but it seems to take a lot of work and multiple calls. I really don’t know how you guys do it every week. Getting this stuff scheduled on a tight time frame could not be more difficult. Anyway, I can see the value.

I'd like to copy your statement for future reference and to share with potential clients.
Thanks for the compliment!
And in a couple of years, you'll make the perfect client for me. My BEST clients have done the work themselves at least once and never want to work like that again and have also GC'ed a job or low bid a job, all in the name of saving money.........
And after that experience, they are now willing to put a value on service and professionalism.
I'am a guessing, that you will sleep sound tonight. Thanks for your post. Jim J,, Oh, by the way did you used to work for my old boss?? to this day he still, schedules tight, pushing and pushing alllll the time.
