I’d like to give my thoughts on the Milwaukee V28 tools,
1/ The batteries
The comparison tests showing twice the staying power are correct, they are fade free, and they don’t overheat, (my summers are 110 degrees)
2/ The circular saw 9 months
Will do heaps of crosscuts
It will rip for twice as long as old tech batteries, but twice as long still isn’t much. When ripping it doesn’t need to stall though.
3/ The Recipro 8 months
It’s a beast, but then again I’ve got the 15 amp Makita so it doesn’t give me pleasure.
4/ Impact Wrench 4 months
This is a bang for your buck tool, if it can’t take the nut off it will break the bolt. Weights heaps. Always keep it in the truck. Occasionally see someone with a flat and if they just stopped or don’t look like things are going well for them will get out and get them going 5 minutes later.
Bought it as a toy, alway trying to find uses for it.
5/ The drill 1 day
Just got this today, but it looks good, the chucks great.
These are well built tools, that feel solid.
What about you? What do you think?
