I have old linoleum (I think) tiles over old linoleum in the kitchen. I hate these tiles – they weren’t installed properly and I want to get rid of them, see if I can salvage what’s underneath, and if not, put something else down. Whatever I do, these horrible, hard to clean things have to go.
Question: Is there a tool/method that I should use to make this easier, or is it pure elbow grease and a strong putty knife? If you were doing this, what kind of tool would you use to pry the things up? They are the “stick-down” type of tile, I believe.
Gettting rid of this floor and painting the kitchen are my summer project. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
