I am, so far, unimpressed with Dewalt tools. My initial complaint was with their bits & drivers. Wore out WAY too fast even compared to store brand bits. Now, I got a rotten sawsall.
I bought the small one (6.5 amp) hoping it would out last my no name ones that I was going through like a hot knife through butter but alas, 2 Dewalts later I went & bought the P.C. Shark saw. So far its working pretty good. I dont think Im hard on my sawsalls. I have just been cutting out 2X12 rafters with them. I really thought the Dewalt would be up to the task.. I use good quality blades & change them regualrly as soon as they show signs of wear but still the Dewalt crapped out. If the P.C. does them I’ll know Im doing something wrong.
Geesh.. I need a crystal ball or something to help decide which tools to buy.
MAkita 10″ dual compound slider. Crapped out in 10 mins. BEaring was shot
Boch 24v Cordless drill. Charger crapped out 2 months into ownership. Took 3 weeks to get a new one. NOw, batteries seem to be not holding a charge, I assume the old charger cooked them.
Man.. Im going back to accounting.. Pens dont cost as much & they dont break down as much.
Just kidding.. How would I get my slivers??
