Outdoor application of Sheetrock

I’ve seen lath and plaster installed on porch ceilings before.

Does anyone have any experience with sheet rock installed in a similar location?  The location I’m considering will definitely NOT get wet, but it will be exposed to exterior humidity, etc.

Any ideas?

    Yep, board is made for this. Check out USG.com.

    It's called soffit board.

    Having said that, I'm sure there must be other names, but that one works in the supply house.

      Exterior drywall. Been around for years. Big box store don't ussualy carry it. like Don says check out the USG web site.
