I’m thinking of installing an outdoor wood boiler to heat my house, hot water and cabinet shop. I think Central Boiler’s product is my choice. Anyone have any experience, nightmares etc?

Do you have some special reasons for wanting to have the boiler outdoors? Why wood fuel?
*My only experience with these is observing the copius amounts of smoke belching out of every one I've seen operating. I suppose they don't have to operate that way, but most people seem to smolder burn the things and they pollute very much. I wouldn't want one near my house. You would also want to make sure the system is designed to be robust if you loose power (which drives the circulation pump). For what its worth,Steve Wright
