I demolished an old barn / garage and am trying to salvage / re-use as much of the materials as possible.  The siding is solid old growth heart redwood, which we have carefully removed.  The only problem is that the siding is covered in multiple layers of lead based paint.  I am wondering if anyone out there has any experience with removing paint from salvaged siding, or knows of a service that will remove the paint for you.  Maybe some sort of planing process?
