I painted my kitchen several yrs ago with paint that had a sand texture. I would like to repaint, my problem I have is how do I remove the sandy texture from the wall?I tried sanding a small section but the dust was so bad and fine afraid it would end up throughout the house. Is that my only option to remove the texture?
