I’m currently looking at DevWave painting estimator software and Craftsman National Painting Cost Estimator for quotes and to simplify my record keeping. Has anyone use it and what do you think??

It's been several years, but I used the Craftsman when I was paying my way back thru school doing remodeling. It was very close to estimates a couple of buddies (painting contractors) suggested I use on a couple of jobs. They did it in their head from years of experience, but I was confident enough to use the Crafstman after that and did real well with it.
The best thing about it was noting the time to put up scaffolding, move ladders, etc. Turned out to be very accurate thanks to that. I remember thinking on one particular job I wouldn't have made as much money if I hadn't used the estimator to take all the details into consideration.
