Didn’t want to hijack the ongoing thread, so…
I just cleaned and lubed up my IM250 and it’s doing something it’s never done that isn’t covered in the Owner’s manual. When I pull the trigger, even if the nosepiece isn’t depressed that fan runs. In the past, it only ran when the nosepiece was depressed. Works fine but since this is (in my experience) new behavior, thought I’d ask if yours do the same thing (I got somewhat contradictory answers when I called Paslode).
Thanks,
Paul

I believe the fan on mine will run whenever I pull the trigger, weather the nose is depressed or not. Will have to check to be certain, but, I am 95% sure the fan will run whenever the trigger is pulled - provided there is a good battery in the gun.
Thanks guy...
How bizarre... I guess mine has been scewed up for years and I somehow "fixed" it. Of course, now I'll get less battery life ;)
I have the IM250a and whenever I pull the trigger the fan turns on. Not the case with my framer though.
Thanks! Guess something was "stuck" on mine when I got it and now isn't any longer... go figger.
