Are there any standard measurements for hot and cold supply lines such as distance apart and the amount the valves stand proud of the wall?
Re-doing the half bath and would like to put a pedestal sink in. The hot and cold valves are 6 1/4″ apart and stand proud of the wall about 4″. Just had a gut feeling that they may not be close enough together or far enough apart to accomodate a pedestal sink.
Any suggestions or recommendations?
ps – I’m thinking Kohler pedestal. Went to their website but the specs were unclear as to how far apart the supply lines/valves had to be.

They have PDF files of the specs there. Might be a bit hard to find but I have seen them. Standard is 8" but they have two layouts. One for the standard faucet set and one for independent faucets.
But you are asking about the rough-in anyway i believe, The final from wallout curoff valve will be a flex line anyhow. But the plumber likes to knw the specs. Find the PDF they have there.

At the kohler site, to the right of the sink you want it should say technical info. If you click on that you can drill down to "rough-ins" or "installation". It should open a pdf file with the specs you want.
Seems like most of the pedestals I've encountered, they want the supplies coming out of the wall on 4" centers

When you have the page for the pedestal you want, click on technical, then get the list of Cad drawings, select the one you want, then hover over technical and drop down menu will let you chose from Cad drawings, Rough in PDF, installation instructions, etc.
Kind of like this,
