I’m getting ready to lay a unfinished maple floor. It is a remodel of an apt. There is a layer of luon over the subfloor (well glued and nailed). I have heard different things, some say glue the thing, others say lay the red underlayment paper. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks a million,

The standards from the wood flooring manfactures association is to use felt for nail down floors.
And if you glue it use adhesive made specifically for flooring, such as Bosticks.
