Recently I had a conflict with a plumber in Dallas ,Texas that works for a commercial plumbing company and he stated that all strapping to the metal studs had to be on the front side of the stud(directly between the drywall and the stud), This causes a buldge in the wall….however on other projects , the strapping was on the back of the stud,,,does anyone know what the code book in Dallas or for the state of Texas states??            thanks……Mark
