“Plumbing ?” high temp plastic tubing.

I have an instant hot water dispenser that has started to leak.
For those that aren’t familar with these they are an “open” system.
The water goes to a valve and then to the tank. And from the tank to the spout on the valve.
The connection from the tank to the spout is plastic tube that has split.
There is no water pressure on the tubbing. But when dispensing 190 water flows through it and sometimes it releases a little steam.
In the spout it appears to be ordinary vinyl tubing from the hardware store.
Down where it connects to the tank it is white and right at the tank brown and hard.
I am wonder if anyone has any ideas for replacement that might withstand the tempature.

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.

Silicone tubing:
Silicone tubing has long been used for medical tubing, as it meets the medical industry’s requirements for cleanliness and non-toxicity. Another of silicone’s major features — resistance to extreme temperature variations — has enabled its use in applications where a flexible tubing is needed to handle temperatures not possible with other plastics or rubbers.

The silicon (and teflon) look like they might work. But they did not have the right sizes 3/8x1/2).But US Plastics does and sells some of it by the foot.

Teflon tubing should. Or metal.
Bill,
The 3 instahots I got are all ICE -In Sink Erator. I thought the vinyl tubing was just a vent and not a supply.
My dispenser has 3 copper lines coming out of it and 1 vinyl tubing.
Line #1- water supply
Line#2- Supply to tank
Line3#- Supply from tank to dispenser. -- Hot Hydrogen Dioxide out to make your peppermint tea.
Vinyl tubing- Vent (P&T valve?) I thought.
2 of my instahots only lasted 3-4 years then started leaking at the tank. Caused some water damage under sink before I found out about it. No pressure in the tank so leak was minute and probably vapor most of the time. Also my potatoes under the sink looked like they were trying to mash themselves.
A tell tail sign of your tank leaking would be a delay in water supply out the dispenser. Since the tank is not pressurized, any leaking water would have to be replaced before it could be dispensed.
If your sure your leak is coming from your vinyl tubing, I would just replace with whatever fits and not worry about any temp. concerns.
Hot Hydrogen Dioxide out to make your peppermint tea.
Sounds explosive. Dihydrogen oxide would work better.
Yeah, thats the ticket.
This unit replaced several ISE's over the years. ISE used copper tanks and they could corrode and leak in about 6 years. This one is a Quick and Hot http://quickandhot.com/They use a SS tank and it shows no sign of leaking. And it is definity only 3 connections. The plastic tubing is the vent and dispenser. And I can see how a separate vent line would work.About a year ago I installed an ISE for a client. They now use SS tanks..
