   Yes Ed, the porch is covered. I have a wood broker anxiously trying to sell me 900 sq ft of locust. I know this is used for fenceposts but have never heard of flooring

   Any Thoughts ?

   Has anyone used black locust, ash, birch, or beech for porch flooring?
