Rebuilding a flat roofed porch after removing all the old galvanized roofing sheets.
Using 26 gauge galv. for gutter liners and lock seam sheets — then soldering everything together.
A few pictures to start then a Shutterfly link to all 65 or so if anyone has an interest.

Thank You for sharing your work.......
Deja Vu there Walter, geeze..I have one open now ( 24'x27') awaiting some internal wireing under the new advantech. And probably next week starting an 8'x23' flat seam copper porch.
I've not opened the flatseam job yet, but the box gutter is leaking as well as the old rusted terne.
The big one, is holding and might be flatseam CU, but the customer claims to be dead in the water money wise..I was counting on him to carry me thru the winter with a huge amt. of carpentry rebuilding the parapets after the roof/gutter goes on..but things have a habit of going south when the money dries up.
Glad yer staying busy.

Duane,
As my friend in the Islesboro thread says from the movie business ( he's a prop master )
"A lot of people need a lot of things " and so it goes.
Sorry to hear about the rug being yanked from beneath your Redwings.
Walter
Well, I had a week off, and just recently the call came for the CU roof, and in hooking up w/Grant for the pans, he mentioned he needs some wood work, so, it all works out if yer patient and allow it to flow.

Nice looking work Walter!
Walter,
Thanx for sharing this project. I learn something in every one of your photo threads. The more I learn, the more I realize how much I do not know.
Just got through reading the FHB WEB (JP's) thread on posting pictures.
I will complete 'Small Addition' and looking forward to the completion of your slate sided accessory structure.
Please continue to post your work, which is most excellent and imformative.
Chuck Slive, work, build, ...better with wood
Is there going to be some sort of walking surface on or over that?
