Has anyone disabled the Porter-Cable FN250A 16 Ga. finish nailer Bump/Bounce firing mode with the optional red trigger from Porter-Cable? If yes, what is your opinion on how safe it is? Yeah, I know even if bounce mode is disabled that you can still do something stupid. I just want to know if it really is disabled before I go out and purchase this nailer and get the red trigger from Porter-Cable. I’m not interested in bounce mode for finish or cabinet work. I looked at an Accuset nailer and it did not seem to have a bounce mode, but would rather get the Porter-Cable nailer since it shoots a wider range of nail lengths and is more affordable. Any comments.
