Just wondering what other carps are using for closet doors these days? I find it hard to believe that yards and home centers don’t keep anything but slabs and bi-folds in stock – are people using prehung double closet doors, or actually fitting slabs to a double-wide jamb opening?

Justin,
Think of the possible combinations of doors, jamb types and casngs, type and finish of hinges, etc. We have a lumber yard that stocks. 2/0, 2/4,2/6,3/0 X 6/8. split jambs, DC99 casing in fingerjoint, hollow core, 6 panel. Everything else is ordered through their door shop.
