I’m about to remove acoustic texture from the ceilings in my living-room, dining-room and den. To do this I’ll cover the crown molding, the wainscoating and floors. I’ll use thick milled plastic to cover the molding and the wainscoating. Question: Because I’ll be sparying the ceilings w/ water I’m concerned that the prep work might fall off the molding since I’ll be taping it. I plan to use blue painters adhesive tape so as not to leave adhesive on the stained crown-molding and other wooden materials which are stained. What do you think?
