I read with interest your article about an artists studio sided with copper. it looked great, dark brown and green patina. I thought it might work well in our climate here in Steamboat Colorado Where we have intense sun that cooks wood and paint. Now that I have my whole house clad in copper, I’m wondering what suggestions I can get to accelerate the patina process. I’d like to collect my lender sunglasses from my neighbors. One of my friends suggested I buy a couple kegs and have some friends over to patina pee party, but questions of having drunks on a second floor scaffold, with limited range and poor control and the like are discouraging to me. Having just build a copper house in the middle of town has attacted enough attention, I don’t know if we could tolerate any more stigma. As you can see, I’m desperate for a better idea.
I still have a few loose ends, if anyone has a souce for copper nails, 5-6d I’d buy some.
I have been thinking I would like to bring the outside in and use copper tiles around my fireplace. Any ideas of sources?

Greg, this has been discussed a number of times. Consensus opinion is you need horses on your scaffolding, buying your buddies a bunch of beer won't help unless they bring their polo ponies too. Joe H

Thanks Joe, we have plenty of horse pee around here, It's the how to get it from where it is to the side of my house that has yet to be determined. Doesn't seem easy at first pondering. I've ordered the nails, thanks again.
