Jim: Are you thinking of doing this yourself or are you going to hire someone?
*Jim, sorry to hear about the Heatway. I looked at their tubing when I first started to research radiant heat, and even got them to send me a sample. Then I read something about the failure rate and the class-action suit, and went with 1/2" PEX tubing made by Wirsbo. Did it myself. The stuff has a very good history, but is a bit of a pain to work with, being fairly stiff. The trick is to make the 180 degree bends in your joist bays without putting a kink in the tube. Helps to pre-heat it a little. Even holding it in front of a quartz halogen work light helped. Good luck. Bear
*Dave I installed the heatway myself. I will install replacement also.
*When I turned at the end of a run, I went into the next bay. That kept the turn diameter at 16" and stopped all kinking. To get two runs in a bay, I just went back into the last bay again. No heat required and the tube diameter was 3/4".near the stream,aj
