I am planning a cathedral ceiling for a great room. Peak is 22 ft tall. Rafters will be around 24 ft long. Does anyone have experience using the engineered I – joist type for this. I would like to use 10 inch material to achieve greatest R value. I have built smaller vaulted ceilings with normal 2 X material, but never anything this large. So what I am looking for is web sites or any info that the experienced might have. Thanks
