I am looking to ballon frame a gable end wall (cathedral ceiling) for an addition. If I frame the wall on the deck the wall will overhang the deck by about four feet. Addition is 11 1/2 feet wide, wall about 15 feet tall. Any ideas how to frame and raise this wall?

This will serve more to bump your question up the list so others can respond, but maybe you could use saw horses and plywood to extend your deck temporarily?
