I have an office building in which all toilets are floor mounted and rear flush. One has broken and must be replaced. I am being told that all rear flush toilets made today are power assisted in order to meet code. The tenant on that floor happens to be my oldest tenant and pays the highest rent and has stated that he will not tolerate a power assisted toilet because they are too noisy. Soooooo…….does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes a rear flush toilet that is not power assisted?

I have a rear flush, not power-assisted, made by Kohler in my house. I didn't buy it, but it isn't that old so maybe they're still available.

Thanks for trying to help. The existing toilet is a Kohler and so that was the first place that I started looking. I've called a number of manufacturers directly and it seems that no one makes a rear flush that isn't power assisted. The reasons given are two: 1. Had to do it to meet the new water conservation requirements. 2. The rear flush needed the power assist in order to get a complete flush. My tenant will just have to live with a power assist toilet.

Is it possible to swap toilets from another floor? Putting the power assist on that floor?bobl Volo Non Voleo Joe's cheat sheet
Buck, I bought a Gerber rear flush about 5 years ago - - 3.5 gpf - - maybe old stock? anyway, it is a weak performer - and I had clean up a lot of casting flash near the outlet before I installed it -
tru SaniFlo - they make a rear flush toilet sold separately from their other products.
