Contact your local "Green Building" association. They will have a listing of where you can find reclaimed building materials of all kinds. It's big business these days.Who's the cat that won't cop out, when there's danger all about?

Got any Amish in your neighborhood? Thats the first place I go when I need reclaimed beams.

You might try Terramai http://www.terramai.com. I just visited their booth at the West Coast Green conference. They are the only ones I can think of now
I used old growth redwood for a timber frame in Northern California. I found the wood at Mendocino Specialty Lumber Co. They find old growth logs in farms and rivers, then cut to suit. I was very satisfied with the shipments I received.
