There is no forum for swimming pools so I’ll post here. I have a fiberglass pool slide that’s gotta be 20 years old and it’s no longer as smooth as it used to be. I wax it with car wax once in a while but there has got to be something more permanent. I want it slick as a bathtub to get some speed on it. The company that made it is out of business so I can’t replace it. Does anyone have any ideas/experience with this?

You could try to contact a tub refinisher or try contacting LASCO. They make fiberglass/acrylic tubs and showers. They always have a contractor around that can make repairs to tub and showers being installed.

Check with the local plumbing supply house. They might know a refinisher.
