   "Goof Off " and elbow grease should work. Be careful that it doesn't take any finish off the bamboo.

   I've had people tell me that there is a GOOP product that works too. Probably at the big box stores.

   Mayonnaise.Had a guy tell me once that if you ever had an old iron pot or skillet that was so crusty black you couldn't clean it to soak it a while with mayo and it would clean'er up spic n span clean.

   Yup.  It is an emulsion of water and oil ( fat from yolks, and veggie oil)...had some tuna salad clean my hands of caulk one day..so I tried it on other stuff.  It works.  Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks
