Can anyone recommend restoration techniques or commercial products available specifically for anodized bronze surfaces? I would like to remove oxidation and water etching from several windows. I could also use painting methods for touch up of small scratches as well as complete refinishing. So far, I’m simply considering auto body refinishing methods…
thanks,

I thought anodizing was a chemical reaction. All the touch up painting that I have seen has been very noticible.
i believe that you're on the right track, "anodized" implies an electrochemical process ("anode" referring to an electrical polarity).
for what i'm contemplating, touch up would require small amounts of paint, rubbed with something similar to a pumice product or rubbing compound used for auto finishing, and polishing. this would also remove oxidation and watr etching. the trick would be not to remove the finish down to the metal. autos have many layers of paint applied to achieve the final finish while anodized-finished doors do not. i also have some doors that are beyond touching up...
