I just finished the last room in a 200 year old house. As I was packing up to leave the owner asked If I would now do some work in the kitchen.
My problem is this.
The kitchen floor being more than 200 years old has had a number of coverings applied, removed etc. The 12″ square linoleum type covering or what ever was installed 40 years ago, it was applied over tar paper. I am having a terrible time removing the tar paper from the wooden floor.
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated
Thanks

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming

Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
Try Goof Off.
