The roof to my garage slopes up to the bedroom wall up one floor. I’ve insulated the garage roof and it appears I’m getting condensation on the plywood. There are vent holes at the eaves but nothing at the top where the roof meets the wall. I used an aluminum ridge vent on another part of the house where there actually is a ridge and it seems to work pretty well. Does anyone know of a similar product that would work at the top of this garage roof?

*Terry;I've used a product called "Flash Filter Vent". Had two 60 ft long shed roofs meeting a second story wall. Worked great. It looks very similar to joes' link. It essentially flashes between roof and wall, but has a grill which allows air/moisture to escape. The grill is rolled under to prevent water infiltration. Can't recall the manufacturer, sorry. Adam
*AdamS. Flash Vent is manufactured by Air Vent, Inc.I'd hesitate to vent such a combination. Why? The junction of the shed roof and the exterior wall is in a high wind pressure area and guarantees rain, snow or both, penetration. Bt the bye. This is also the reason why soffit vents must be located as far away as possible(next to the fascia board) from the high pressure area of the exterior wall. the over hang must be 8 inches minumum to minimise the possibility of rain and snow penetration. GeneL.
*Gene; Thanks for the mfg. Now I do recall :)There is a barrier built in to prevent water from being driven "up slope" and into the vents, but I do see your concern.Have you experienced this problem? I've used it on two different roofs with no issues (Although these were NOT in snow-load area.)How would one vent this type of roof?ThanksAdam
