The roof framing books are good and the book by Marshall Gross is full of good info, but we will be starting a very difficult roof this summer. We have done hips, gables, octogons, bumpouts, but this one will be a challenge, and I am looking forward to it. But this summer we have a new guy (women) joining the team and my oldest son joining full time (worked his way through high school with us). It would be nice to have a good video for them to watch ( and me as well !!!) because sometimes you just have to see someone else do it and the books can be soooooooo loooong. The man who taught me so much was a master roof framer, but he is pushing 80 and I am not about to ask him to climb up.
Any good sugestions ?? sorry my budget does not allow me to fly over and watch Gabe, AJ, Joe F or Blodget.
