By considering things like energy-efficient mechanicals, window orientation, and renewable energy sources, homes can be evaluated to meet the energy codes. Here's what the IRC has to say.

My best advice to you is to look in your yellow pages and find a local cabinet door manufacturer. Most cities usually have a few that serve local cabinet shops and they are far and away the best option for custom doors. In my shop we have all the shapers and cutterheads necessary to build our own doors, but have found that the specialty shops can usually provide them faster and for only slightly more than the cost of materials (drawer boxes as well). And they most often warranty their doors for a specified period against warping (as long as you finish them properly). By having them do this for you you can build your cabinet carcases and be all ready for the doors when they come.
Pj,
You should post this question over at Finewoodworking. Also I would suggest a subscription to that mag. They will have all the info you need.
I don't understand! I cut it twice and it's still too short!
On the top of this page is a link for Knots forum. They are pretty helpful. I'm also going to give you a link for Joe Fuscos forum. He is a very high end cabinet maker and so are some of the guys that hang out there. You'll get a very good response there. http://WWW.JosephFusco.org is the main web site. And this is the link to his forum. Heck of a guy.http://www.josephfusco.org/phpbb/portal.php?sid=57d5ff8bbdc79e554c123a47e0cbe1d6
