hello all-
I am in a bit of a pickle and hope you (y’all) can help me.
I have gutted the interior of a plank-framed house and have found fairly extensive rot and wet spots. There are two layers of 4/4 rough sawn with clapboard on top (on the outside) with asbestos on top of that.
The rot goes clear out to the clapboard in some spots.
I just am not sure how to proceed. Obviously the wood needs to dry out, but it looks like that is impossible as the plank framing is just one big ROT sandwich.
both answers and questions would be greatly appreciated
