I finally got the “ok” to buy a new router, but just don’t know which one to buy. For months i’ve been drooling over the pages of tool catalogs, going it over and over in my head which router i’d buy when the time was right. well, she told me today that it’s now or never and i give myself a week to decide. but i long ago told myself that i wouldn’t make a final decision with out the prior consent of my online colleagues. so say what you must and make an impact–i will be heading to the tool store monday.
here’s my story:
i am currently a trim carp/cabinet builder/corian fab/remodeler…ect
i want something that will stay current(i am going back to school fulltime in the fall–but will still make money where i can being a weekend termite)
i want a big v.s. plunge router (something versatile) $100-$200-$dosen’t really matter
brands looked at: bosch,makita,p.c.,fein,freud,hitachi,open to others
i really appreciate the help you guys have given me in the past–i have no tools that i am not proud to own.
thanks
gabe keway
BTW: i want to thank maddog for the mitre saw stand, i built it, i love it, it’s perfect (look at his pic)
