Dear All,
I’m looking for any and all info on rubble trench foundations, especially if there is reference to them in the building codes. I saw the article in FH book on foundations.

One concern might be the existing soil. Especially slow perculating soil like clay. A rubble trench in clay would need careful considerations for proper drainage.
Possibly radon gas infiltration is another if it's a threat in your area.
Static stability would another concern on a sloping lot.
