I’m in the market for my first contractor table saw and have not seen any discussions yet on the Ryobi. I’m impressed with the router attachment option but would like to hear if anyone has had a chance to use it. Is there a better saw within the same market (400-500 bucks)?

*Hello Hitchcock I've worked with the Ryobi BT3000 forthe past 5 yrs in the remodeling business. The saw has alot of nice features but was not made strongenough for daily use on the job site. The sliding table constantly needs adjusting the levers to loosen and slide the fence rails always fall off and get lost and the adjustment mechnism for the blade heightand bevel stripped out. I would suggest you look at the Makita 2703 10" saw with a Rousseau table saw stand or the Dewalt DW744S.
