I’ve got a white cultured marble top with some nasty looking scratches. They’re not deep. Can they be buffed out? Any other suggestions for removing them without replacing the top?

My cultured marble supplied has repair kits. They have all the stuff for a repair. I just supply the palm sander and cutting compound for final polishing.
Check with the supplier or a local manufacturer.
The gel coat on those tops is fairly thin. You can polish out the scratches if they are shallow using micron papers, but if they go through the gel coat you will have to apply a new clear coat.
