I’m trying to find a way or product to protect the bottom half of a screen door from dog damage without installing construction cloth or those cheap screw-on alumininum guards. On older screen doors I have seen nice decorative metal lattice work, often placed flush with the screen, but I cannot seem to find anyone who sells such items.

*If you are thinking of the stamped our flat metal sheets (cpl diff patterns) I would try Ace Hdwr. If no luck there, an old hardware store and ask the oldest person there. Cant remember if they're steel which would rust over time. Best of luck.
