Wondering if you can get screws for this gun to do steel framing, as well as drywall to steel studs. They do make a screw for drywall to metal studs. Could you use the same screw to attach the studs together? How do the guns work in general as far as performance. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Have a good day! thanks again, bri

I have the 14v duraspin, and the corded. The corded gets used the most because it has more power and it doesn't need to have it's batteries recharged.
There are at least 45 threads that include this screw gun. All you need to do to find them is click on the advanced search button and type in 'duraspin' and include all catagories.
Happy reading/searching.

Yes, they do make screws for attaching dw to steeel studs -- they're the self-drilling kind.
I have the cordless and like it; other don't -- but they seem to be people who have hung tons of dw, and they're very adept at hand feeding screws to a conventional gun.
The Duraspin works fine when you are driving screws straight on, but they are virtually useless when you try to drive them in at an angle (i.e. corners).
