SEPTIC TANK–UPGRADE TO 1500 GAL TANK

bobyaps | Posted in General Discussion on December 1, 2006 08:42am

WE’RE PUTTING AN ADDITION ON TO THE KITCHEN SIDE OF HOUSE, AND NEED TO MOVE SEPTIC TANK.  THE BOARD OF HEALTH WANTS US TO UPGRADE FROM 1000 GAL TO 1500 GALLON TANK, BUT WE CAN TIE IT INTO EXISTING DISTRIBUTION BOX AND LEACH FIELD.  WHAT’S A FAIR PRICE TO PAY.  LOCATION—CAPE COD, MASS.—VERY SANDY, EASY DIGGING. NO TREES TO REMOVE.

    Greetings Bob,

As a first time poster Welcome to Breaktime.

This post, in response to your question, will bump the thread through the 'recent discussion' listing again.

Perhaps it will catch someone's attention that can help you with advice.

    Cheers

PTB is a quote from a novel by Anne mcCaffrrey and Elizabeth Ann Scarborough.

The books' name is. . .

Just moved form Mass.  Health dept. made us upgrade tank to larger size to pass title V. No leaks, just a power thing. Just open your wallet and be prepared to pay. It is going to take an engineer to figure out that everything needs to flow down hill. Shop around, I found the installers to vary greatly.

    Todd

Mass., what a great place to leave!

    (about $3000.00)
