   What type of shingles are those?  Haven't seen anything like that.

   Dan ,

   Those are strip shingles or called " jets " locally .A forerunner of archys having no cut outs .

   their is no laminations -- all the same weight throughout .

   i prefer a straight shaft weedeater for heavy duty jobs..

   it would make a great picture.

   Yes a curved shaft machine might not have enough torque for that removal project !
