I need to vent a bathroom. There will be a remote inline vent connected to an opening in a drywall covered wall with a duct. Stupid question but I’m having trouble finding a sane way to hook up the 4″ duct through that wall. I’d rather not put in a whole register box with a register cover. Is there a good quality one-piece 4″ vent with a built-in cover piece made for interior use that I could just stick through a cutout in the drywall? Doesn’t need to be round. Most of what I see is made for exterior use like this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Master-Flow-4-in-Round-Wall-Vent-WVA4/100396975. Something like this but not cheap crap: https://www.amazon.com/Ceiling-Diffuser-Exhaust-Ventilation-Ducting/dp/B078HRKCZZ.

The maker of the inline vent should have the box and register you need.
well don't i feel like an idiot now. Thanks.
I put one in the ceiling of my shower.. similar to the amazon one you linked to.
looks fine 15 years later.
They make them to screw open in case you want to pull from two locations, and balance.
I installed two runs (with two fans). one from each second floor bath. it is much quieter with an axial fan close to the attic wall they exhaust through, instead of just over the ceiling.
The other bath had a fan, which I pulled out the old, noisy fan, and ran wire to the remote one.
fantech sells some 4 inch vent accessories.

You might like one of them better.
