OK.. next question… Last house had master Jacuzzi Tub… used it maybe 6 to 8 times a year, in the winter only… I have to order the plumbing fixture now so , should I just go with a 2 person soaking tub or keep the Jacuzzi tub. any opinions?
BTW… outdoor one is not feazable.. to cold in the winter, to heat on propane, to hot in the summer, to want to get into it!
Love to hear your responses!

Would seem that way, but, down here in Texas, that's often the best time to soak in 110° water--just after a long hard day laboring in the sun.
Edit to finish what I was saying 9after hitting "Post" instead of "italic" (my own worst enenmy, my fingers are).
Which tub to pick really is down to how you live. I happen to like the whole almost japanese soaking thing. So, I want radiant heat in the floor and up the walls, with rock facing and a free-standing cedar or cypress coopered tub or ofuro.
The Gotta-think-about-resale types will insist upon a whirlpool tub--but what good is it if it is never used. (And they can be a pain for a plain old bath, needing a lot of hat water to fill.)
And before you write off the idea of an outdoor tub, check out the Snorkel Stove & tub website http://www.snorkel.com/. They use a wood-fired aluminum heater for their coopered tubs. The possibilites after that are only limited to imagination.

Check out a one-person Asian style soaking tub. We have one, and it is wonderful. Its footprint is 40x40, and it is deep, so you either need to recess the floor or build a step-up deck. A pic of ours is attached, taken when we were just finishing up. Notice the clamps for the mirror trim.
Just the ticket for apres ski.
Of course, if you want to be together all the time, even when tubbing, this is not for you.
Americh http://www.americh.com makes two Japanese soaking tubs, the Beverly 6040, a two person tub 60" x 40" x 32", and the Beverly 4040, a 40x40 one person tub.

Luv,
Just my 2 cents. The bigger the tub, the proportionally less you are going to use it. It's a fact.
Sooooo..... put in two (whirlpool type) tubs. (Not necessarily in the same bathroom of course) A big one for "special occasions" and a smaller one, something like a Jacuzzi Cetra, that will run with as little as 20 gallons of water, that you would not feel guilty about using anytime, and only takes minutes to fill.
That's what we did, and the smaller one gets used at least once a week, the big one ?????? I think it's a 90 gallon.
And a FWIW, neighbors of my parents put a 200 gallon in their master bath (looked impressive when they sold the house) and used it twice in FIVE years!!! Actually made the comment to me "I don't understand why the architect talked us into it."
