Hey folks,
Looking for some new soffit and fascia alternatives.
House currently has vinyl soffit and fascia and although nice, often has a few pieces come down in any winds or storms. Aluminum I’ve had in the past is the same way.
I’m looking for any stronger materials such as PVC or similar that I would not have to paint and it stronger than vinylaluminum. Any ideas?
I’d install it myself so thats not an issue. Cost of materials may not be either as long as it is worth it.
Thanks
Mike

Look into high density urethane, such as http://www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/knowhow/exteriors/article/0,16417,216697,00.html
CH,
I love that stuff! I've used it for trim pieces both in and out. I have to find a company that makes soffit in those panels.
Let me go read that article and see if it gives a vendor.
Thanks
Mike
I think Hardi - the same people that make the siding - make a variety of soffit materials.
