A friend of mine, who is a programmer, and I have been kicking around the idea of coming up with software to help with my very busy (and somewhat un-organized) handyman business.
I wanted somehting to keep up with customers, have some sort of reminder to follow up built in, etc.
With what he has done so far I can enter customer info, pictures of jobs, etc. He even made me a section so I can enter all of my tools with serial numbers, etc. The reminder uses a calendar to pick a date and enter info. It pops up to remind you on those dates with a message.
While he is still in the helping mode I wanted to add all I could think of… Any other ideas or suggestions of what we might add to it??
I have a construction calculator sitting on my desk. Would you even bother to add a bunch of different calculators to help?
Any Ideas commments, etc are appreciated.
