Solar kiln for workboots

rez | Posted in General Discussion on August 12, 2004 06:23am

Oooo, that earthy swamp smell. Will I ever be able to wear these boots again.

Poured a 50/50 mix of bleach and water in there and let it swish around before pouring out. Dryed out and not much change. Lysol spray…well, ok. bwaaaa!

Need a kiln to dryout the boots.

Thinking a solar deal.

Anybody ever build one?

I would become self-employed except I’m too cheap to pay myself anything.

This may be a really dumb idea and I've never tried it myself but....

What about filling the boots with cedar and letting the wood sit there for a few days?

Maybe small pieces of siding cutoffs would work.

    Heated clean sand...

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming....

                                                                       WOW!!!   What a Ride!

Q: Why do cowboys want to die with their boots on?
A: So they don't stub their toes when they kick the bucket
