Anyone ever try this?
Would the medium density layer stand up to foot traffic and hold floor paint?

Never tried it, but my guess is that the wear layer really wouldn't hold up all that well unless the deck paint is very well applied and kept up. Its basically a heavy paper face on AC plywood. It is designed to be painted, but I've only seen it used in lareas without traffic.
