Stacking joist, studs & truss rafters
I have always stick framed my roofs but one coming up has interior joist span problems that would probably be better dealt with with truss
This will be a moderatly complex hip roof with a mix of 8, 9 & 11′ ceilings; 6/12 pitch.
I have always been careful to stack floor joist, studs & ceiling joist & rafters.
What do you do when trusses are independently designed? Don’t try to stack or wait for the truss plan & stack down from that?
If you have a problem, don’t just talk do something to set it right.

With a truss hip package it would be crazy to try to stack it.
Trusses normally come 24" OC, and walls are 16" OC.
THe odd spacing of hip sets make stacking a pain.
Stack the floors and walls, forget about the roof.
Pick up girder point loads though.
What the problem is?
Never worried about stacking trusses. As long as you have all your point loads from the roof down stacked you'll be fine.

I'd set the trusses, then go back and put some extra studs under the girder trusses.
No way would I ever try to line up studs and trusses, unless you're in REAL severe snow country...
