Stained Concrete as finish floor

I am going to build a one story ranch home using a slab on grade and would like to use the concrete as my finished floor. I’d appreciate any thoughts or advice about staining it brown and then using a matte finish sealer. I don’t want a smooth uniform appearance but rather something mottled and irregular. This will also have radiant heating. Thanks
