Any one know of a stailess ( or galvy) ring nail I could use for decking that can be shot with a nail gun? I’m looking for something with a smallish head. I have 4D ss rings which work with my framing nailer but they’re too big. I use Porter Cable guns, my partners] uses Bostitch. I’ll rent a gun if needed
Thanks

I can get 6,8,10,&12s for my paslode in hot dipped galvies & stainless clipped head although stainless is a wait from my local yard I paid about $65.00 for 2500 8D ring in stainless to be used with cedar these were generic by Grip Rite. 4D nails are only 1 1/4"are you sure?
Is this for the pasload framing or finish gun, which model?
Thanks
These are for my framing guns , I have an Impulse and a 350S.
my Bostich N63 & N64 both can shoot up to an 8d SS ring nail... full head .. about the same as a box nail..
bostich makes SS nails for it...

are the heads on these smaller than the usual “framing nail” I’m unfamiliar with the Bostitch line. Are the N63/64 framing guns?
Thanks
n63 / n64 are sidewall coil nail guns...
the nails have a typically smaller head ( like a box nail ) so you can use them for clapboards... but they also make great trim guns..
here's the N64 with a coil of SS 5dMike Smith Rhode Island : Design / Build / Repair / Restore
Thanks, this makes total sense! Just got to find them now!

it was recently jacked and new steel beams and a new foundation installed...
ours is the correct coursing.. meeting the incorrect coursing... i pointed out to the owner we could meet and match the old and no one would ever know.. or we can correct and he can meet us when he reshingles that side ( which probably means when we reshingle that sideMike Smith Rhode Island : Design / Build / Repair / Restore
